Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Bookish Memories

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Bookish/Blogging Memories
1. First time I read Jane Eyre when I was about 13 or 14, remember staying up late and not being able to put it down.
2. Going to the DBC and meeting Kendare Blake was really fun, the fact that she remembered my review really made me feel good. This is when I first started blogging and was convinced no one was ever going to read my reviews!
3. Going to hear Diana Gabaldon speak at the DBC two years before. There was a really funny incident where a man from South Carolina raised his hand to ask her a question which was along the lines of I loved the research you did about the area in which I am from and if you would like any help finding out more information I would be glad to help etc. Diana very cheekily grinned and said ‘Sure, you wouldn’t happen to have a kilt would you?.’ Immediately upon her saying this the man stood up in the middle of the row and was wearing a kilt, we couldn’t see this because he had been sitting down when he asked the question. The entire room burst into laughter, it was a really fun moment!
4. When Julianne Donaldson replied to my Edenbrooke review! Another author whose book I just loved! She is a lovely person and you should check out her book!
5. When my husband brought me back a copy of Jane Eyre from Hungary for me, this was before we started dating and I thought it was incredibly sweet!
6. When Leigh Bardugo responded back to my tweets and when she posted my review ! I ridiculously fangirl her book!
7. When I first spoke to Joanna Campbell Slan and how wonderfully supportive she was of what I was trying to do with the audios!
She linked to my review on her website!
8. When Diana Renn agreed to do my first author interview! She is a lovely author and really fun to talk to!
9. When Elizabeth Fama tweeted about our Monstrous Beauty review! She is such a lovely person, she even tweeted me this week when I was feeling sick to say she hoped I was feeling better, that is how much she cares about her fans!
10. When I posted my first review of Cinder and someone replied! I was really nervous and it’s fun to see how I have developed since then!

that incident with the kilt sounds hilarious.
but than you are having some great ones up here so they all should hahaha.
It is always nice when authors react to your posts
Thank you! It was really funny and Diana Gabaldon’s face when it happened was classic! It was along O.O that line!
Great list! That’s way cool that you got to meet Kendare Blake. Jealous over here.
My TTT
She is really fun and apparently a lover of cheese…she mentioned it several times during her talk! LOL
I love your relationship with Jane Eyre! And a Hungarian copy? I so want to see a pic.
I should post my whole collection! I have several foreign language editions LOL
I think there are a lot of awesome moments on there. I think my favourite has to be how sweet your husband was buying you a copy of Jane Eyre from Hungary especially when you love it so much. Awesome list!
I think that was the moment I knew he was a keeper LOL
I read Jane Eyre around that age too. I know I was in 8th grade, and wow, I loved it. Like you said, I couldn’t put it down. I didn’t know what to do with myself when I finished it.
Super sweet about your husband, too.
*sigh* I love re-reading that book feels like an old friend! I know you feel the same about p&p! He is a sweetie, I am lucky!
“5. When my husband brought me back a copy of Jane Eyre from Hungary for me, this was before we started dating and I thought it was incredibly sweet!”
Awww, you and your husband are so adorable together! >____<
And I've went back to your old Cinder review! Maybe you are embarrassed that i did, but you have grown so much! Your drawing, the format! Everything! And I hope you get many more great moments and many more book love through blogging and books. ^^
Thank you! I think I am very lucky! I am not embarrassed at all..I feel good when I look back at it because I can see how much I have improved and that is the lovely thing about blogging!
Thank you! I really appreciate your support and your posts always make me smile!
Fun post!
I’ll definitely be reading your interview with Diana Renn, Tokyo Heist was a fun book!
Alice @ Alice in Readerland
Yay! I really enjoyed that book and the author was so fun to talk to!
Such nice memories! I didn’t realize you interviewed Diana Renn, how cool! Awesome that Kendare Blake remembered your review when you met her. Thanks for sharing
Kendare Blake is a character, she is really fun and I hope I get to see her at the DBF next year!
Isn’t it great? To have your work appreciated by those you admire is fantastic
It’s like when I wrote for Astronomy magazine… even now, I’ll see people on TV that I interviewed and then I feel like jumping up and shouting “I KNOW HIM!” like Will Ferrell in Elf LOL
It does feel nice when you someone likes what you do when you loved what they do!
Looks like you’ve had a lot of great blogging moments. Here’s to many more!
Yay! Here’s to many more for us all!!
