Meme: Feature and Follow Friday- Bookish Resolutions!

Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Allison Can Read and give bloggers a topic to discuss each week while discovering new blogs.
Q: WHAT NEW YEARS BLOGGING OR WRITING RESOLUTION HAVE YOU PLACED ON YOURSELF?
I have quite a few for this blog! Though I am not worried if I don’t keep them because I do blogging entirely for fun as a hobby. My husband suggested it as a way to get back in to reading/drawing more regularly and to de-stress! It’s worked great for me so far! It is really so fun and I love reading other blogs in particular, have gotten some great recommendations for books. That is why I have 40 + books on my to be read list!
- Work ahead and more efficiently. My reviews take some time to do as I hand draw them all.I am ahead at the moment but once school re-starts I know I will start to fall behind again unless I use my time well!
- Don’t buy any more books until I finish all to books on my TBR pile! Which is MASSIVE at the moment, but this is very hard because already I have listed a few titles I am really wanting!!
- Expand our audio discussions to include more topics other than just a single review/podcast style. We have discussed a podcast but we would need outside hosting in order to do that!
- Come up with more original content/features that are interesting to read!

Great resolutions! It’s hard for me not to buy more until I finish my TBR piles, especially considering my TBR is more than I’ll be able to read in a year! Yikes! I really do try to reign myself in, though. Good luck with all your resolutions!

LOL SAME here…this is why I have 40 books on my TBR list! Happy New Year, you too!
Sounds like you have a plan! I for one could never stop buying books! I know I probably should do that as well, but I just can’t bring myself to do it!
Here’s my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!

LOL I think we are all book buying addicts, we should come up with a 12 step plan ;>
I keep telling myself not to get new books until the tbr pile is smaller and then I stumbled onto a wonderful new series or discover a series I’ve been following for years has finally released a new book and it only gets higher. LOL Good luck with your resolutions and I must say I’m so happy you started blogging and sharing your posts and drawings.
LOL We can form a support group and have meetings ;> Aww, thanks..means a lot..when I started this blog I was sure no one would read it LOL
lol What I need to do is let go of my guilt about my tbr pile and just enjoy the books I’m currently devouring.
Same here! Though I am catching up already!
Good for you. I’m currently reading Cold Days by Jim Butcher and its over 500 pages, while I’m flying through it, it is still taking a long time to read. Plus I’ve taken to listening to eaudiobooks on my travel to work so tend to be reading at least two books at a time. I think I’m finally getting somewhere and then I get a message from the library stating I’ve another book come in. It’s an endless cycle of good books. LOL
I’m an old follower via Twitter.
Hand-drawing all your reviews…WOW I thought just writing it up would take time. My hubby is an amazing artist and it feels like he takes shorter time to draw amazing pics than it takes me to write a book review!!! LOL
That should be part of my resolutions, not buying any more books but it’s just so damn hard!
Good luck with your resolutions and looking forward to seeing your new content for your blog.
My Feature & Follow Friday.

I don’t have a GFC..do you mean e-mail? Glad to follow back if so!
I wouldn’t be able to do the ‘dont buy any new books’ resolution. I love buying them.
LOL – I made the resolution. Not sure if I’ll be able to stick to it though!
I’m scared of my TBR pile. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Yours is very cute.
Thank you! Thanks for dropping by!
I need to stop downloading so many free books from Amazon… I have about 350 books in my virtual library now and 90% of them I didn’t pay for (legally, I might add LOL) I am, at least, reading a lot more than I was before though…
That is great! I am really glad to hear you are finding some books you really enjoy! Kindle is awesome for having so much free content!
